Service Description

This 8hr performance-based course is a one-day course offered when conditions are not available during the initial 16/24hr Rescue Boat course. Designed to provide first responders training in their own vessels in swift water scenarios in water moving fast enough to create aeration, foam, large reversals, large waves with crests and breaks while working in close quarters with other vessels. This 8-hour performance-based day is priced at $125/pp, after completion of the initial Rescue Boat class without swift water endorsement. Videos of the location can be found on this site. Class 2 or 3 depending on time of year and location (New Orleans or Shreveport). A completely renewed credential, good for another two years will be provided. Min student numbers vary based on class. No more than 4 students in one boat. Besides a few team-building lessons, every student gets tiller time both days in every skill. Boat rental may be available for $450/day + fuel

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 14 days prior to class- 100% Refund minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation 13 days to 48hrs prior to class- 50% Refund and minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation less than 48hrs - No Refund. (Unopened books, materials and equipment refunded with receipt. No refund on eLearning).
