In Harvey LA, this has been rebuilt and rewritten to meet not just localized, isolated incidents but to also meet the needs of a USAR rescue swimmer. This course now also meets the NFPA 1670 and 2500 (2022) requirements, specifically 1006-71, 72, 74 (Surface Water Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician) as well as 1006-89, -90, -91 Floodwater Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician. THIS COURSE NOW OFFERS AN ONLINE E-LEARNING COMPONENT. This means your team members can now complete the didactic session online on duty or on their personal time. We then meet at the water location (open water or pool) review the information and have more time to demonstrate mastery and understanding of skills. Open water or pool sessions based on need of the client. Please call 504-382-1097 for details. Upon registration, an eLearning code will be sent to you to access the course. Performance based certification course has been taught to public safety agencies and individuals since 2011. This course gives your agency many capabilities to affect a rescue within minutes of receiving a call out. Popular with fire services and coastal response, this course is also very beneficial to law enforcement agencies that routinely arrive before other emergency services. Completion of this course will provide a picture certification card backed by the International Diving Educators Association Public Safety, Top Water Rescue division. a wholly USA and Veteran owned company.

Cancellation 13 days to 48hrs prior to class- 50% Refund and minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation less than 48hrs - No Refund.
