Vehicle Stabilization and techniques of approach. -Easy to set up plan B options for moving water rescue near shore. - RIT IS NOT your plan B. Why they need to be separate functions. -Vehicle Landing Positions and when to expect turtling. This course works through several techniques your department may be able to use involving both surface and submerged rescues. Students will assess, interact and respond to active as well as unresponsive victims. Utilizing our submersible, clean training vehicle, students will experience light entrapment, victim surfacing and multiple victims in this comprehensive aquatic extrication class. Students completing all of the components and paperwork will receive picture with Dept logo, certification card backed by IDEA Public Safety Top Water Rescue Division. Top Water Rescue only is a 10hr day. Students with no previous moving water, PPE, rope bag or training in hydrology, this is 12 hour day. Shallow Submerged is a 12hr day. Cancellation 13 days to 48hrs prior to class- 50% Refund and minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation less than 48hrs - No Refund.
