Service Description

The concept of the Quick Rescue Diver is to provide quick, life-saving action to individuals trapped, usually in vehicles and at shallow depths, below the surface of the water. This Mission Specific Distinctive Specialty backed by IDEA PS offers solutions to agencies that wish to provide this life saving service, rather than wait for a Public Safety Dive team, meant for recovery and evidence preservation rather than rescue. The course consists of three parts. Once placing a deposit on the class each student will receive an invite for online training. The student must complete the online training before moving to the next part at the pool. During the eLearning, two pool dates and one outdoor water location will be scheduled. We will cover basic scuba skills and public safety subsurface extrication skills during the pool sessions. The next day we will meet at your training site with our training truck and conduct a series of exercises aimed at gaining some experience with those skills and building confidence, streamlining technique and demonstrating safe skills and behavior.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 14 days prior to class- 100% Refund minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation 13 days to 48hrs prior to class- 50% Refund and minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation less than 48hrs - No Refund. (Unopened books, materials and equipment refunded with receipt. No refund on eLearning).
