Service Description

This 18 to 24hr performance-based course is usually a two-day course designed to provide First Responders training in their own vessels. Departments with dependable swift water training sites, this is a two day, 24hr performance-based course. We can come to you. Students completing this course will receive a picture certification card backed by IDEA Public Safety. The course includes a classroom portion, student watermanship demonstration, static water and swift water components when applicable and/or available. During times of year when swift water is not available in the New Orleans region, agencies may opt for a swift water training day during March through May. Conditions vary greatly during this period. Please call for details. Prices varies during time of year due to swift water availability. This course meets NFPA 1006 and 2500 (2022) for Watercraft Rescue. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 14 days prior to class- 100% Refund minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation 13 days to 48hrs prior to class- 50% Refund and minus cost of delivered books, equipment, materials or eLearning. Cancellation less than 48hrs - No Refund. (Unopened books, materials and equipment refunded with receipt. No refund on eLearning).
